When my body scrub ran out recently, I decided to give a DIY version a go and followed this fab Pantry Raid DIY Sugar Scrub Tutorial by Allison at Dream a Little Bigger.

One of my favourite things is to go to my friend Eleanor's house, armed with a bottle of wine (or two) for a cheap alternative to a night out. And Eleanor LOVES her wine! So for her birthday I decided to make her a present for when she is carting her bottles around to whoever is hosting the next wine night - a travel friendly bag, upcycled from a pair of jeans!

Father's day is this weekend and for Dunc and his dad we decided to recreate a project we did last year... This is a really quick and easy frame makeover!

I have been obsessed with the idea of sketching with my sewing machine for AGES. Problem is my teensy machine is pretty basic and everything I had read about called for free motion stitching with a special foot, and the ability to drop the feed dogs. None of which I can do!!

We love buttons. Have we mentioned this before?! We have a HUGE stash including some lovely vintage ones donated from older friends and family who had collected them for years - long before we got into crafting. After pinning many, many projects on Pinterest, we decided it was time to get on with it and we spent an evening making jewellery.

I discovered Cross Stitch a couple of years ago. I was immediately hooked, but I must admit there are a lot of patterns out there that are... well... just not me. So when I found these African sunset ones, I knew I would love doing them and I would be able to offload give them as presents to my mum (who is from Kenya and has a her whole lounge room dedicated to the continent).
