Today, Kathleen shares with us her tried and tested recipe for Homemade Bath Bombs!
I have tried many recipes and by far this is the best or the one that has consistently work without cracking.
Dry ingredients:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/2cup epsom salt
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
Wet ingredients:
- 2 1/2 tsp vegetable oil or oil of your choice ( grape seed, avocado, jojoba are great for your skin and works well making the bath bombs.
- 1/2 tsp. borax Fragrance oil of choice or essential oils
- Food coloring of your choice of colour
As you combine both wet and dry ingrediants use witch hazel in a bottle to spray while mixing.
Pack the mixture into a mould of your choice (for example a tennis ball cut in half)
Remove from the mould and leave to dry fully.
Then just relax and enjoy your homemade bath bomb!
