Over Easter we went for a lovely trip to Valladolid in Spain to visit my sister. We were there for a week and managed to fit in a bit of culture in between sampling the tapas and red wine!!

One of my favourite things is to go to my friend Eleanor's house, armed with a bottle of wine (or two) for a cheap alternative to a night out. And Eleanor LOVES her wine! So for her birthday I decided to make her a present for when she is carting her bottles around to whoever is hosting the next wine night - a travel friendly bag, upcycled from a pair of jeans!

June is busy month for family and friend's birthdays, so I have been using it as a good excuse to spend time looking on Pinterest for inspiration! My brother's girlfriend, Alice enjoys crafting so I decided that a little needle case may come in handy, especially for while on the move.

Whenever I pack to go away, I hate the thought of putting my toothbrush 'loose' in my washbag. I've tried those plastic toothbrush holders, but I never seem to be able to clean them properly *sigh*! But all is not lost... while browsing on Pinterest I saw that people had made a travel wrap from a facecloth.... a perfect solution to my toothbrush related dilemma!!

Although I took my inspiration from Pinterest, I didn't follow any particular pattern and as per usual made it up as I went along! Here's what I did...
