... and a PomPom Festival!

Recently we read about the PomPom Blossom Festival in Making magazine, and we just had to put our names down and take part!! For the month of June, Balfron (in Scotland) is going to be turned into an open air installation with hundreds of PomPoms hanging from the trees. Each will have a label attached with the maker's name and a word chosen by each maker.

Here's how we got on:
'Zeal' by Simi (and Mally)....
'Lunar' by Sian...
The larger versions were made using the usual technique of winding wool around a circle of cardboard and the smaller ones by winding wool around a fork.
You can check out all the other donations on the PomPom Festival blog too. Anything to make the world a bit brighter! It was the least we could do!

UPDATE: 27th May - Our PomPoms now have their own little feature on the Festival blog!!
