... and another Lamp Revamp!

We've been decorating and as much as I enjoy getting my hands stuck into some DIY, its the little touches that make me the most happiest! I'm not really sure this counts as a craft project but I thought I'd share my latest revamped lamp.
This was our old lamp. It was inherited from...somewhere(!). It's black, made of enamel and didn't really give out much light!
I was thinking of doing something fancy like punching holes in the shade, but then I found this bargain and couldn't leave it in the shop - that's £12.99 down to £3.24!!

It was a little rough around the edges, so I peeled of the stiff plastic pieces off the ends, and glued the edges over to make it neater.
I then sprayed the base of the lamp an Ocean Blue colour. I masked off the top and the plug piece, and sprayed the lead too (as it was also black)
And then re-assembled the lamp!
Before & After
Here it is in my newly decorated bedroom:

Do you think I have a Lamp Revamp addiction?!!
