... and Homemade Bath Products

Yay, we have another fab guest post! This time it is from Kathleen Chambers, who makes a range of homemade bath and beauty products. Today she shares with us how to make a Face Moisturiser and Jewelled Jelly Soaps.

The past few years I have battled an auto immune disease . Understanding chronic pain, taking regular baths filled with natural ingredients to help remove toxins through my skin has helped tremendously. This experience led me to educate myself with holistic recipes, which inspired me to share the positive effects within your whole body.

Homemade Face Moisturiser
In this recipe I will share how to make a non toxic, all natural face serum within a few minutes from products that can be purchased at most grocery stores.

Ingredients:
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • 1 tbls. Shea Butter
  • 2 tbls. Coconut Oil
  • 1/4 cup Aloe Vera Gel
  • 2 tbls. Vegetable Glycerin
  • 1 tsp. Jojoba Oil
  • 1 tsp. Vitamin E Oil
  • 5 to 10 drops Essential Oils (I used love spell)
Mix all the ingredients together with a whisk
Transfer into a sealed container and enjoy!
Based on an ancient healing system my skin serum works great on any part of your body of which includes dry skin, sunburns, aging, etc... For a nourishing experience!

Jewelled Jellies

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup Boiled Water
  • 1/4 cup Dr. Bronners Liquid Shower Soap
  • 1-2 packets Unflavoured Gelatin
  • 1tsp. Essential oil
Start by mixing all the ingredients together
Pour into plastic molds, brushed lightly with coconut oil to stop them sticking.
Jellies then need to be refrigerated for a couple of hours to set.
Once they are set, pop out of the molds and they are ready to use!
