... and Make Reading Christmas Fair

Make Reading is an 11 day festive celebration of Berkshire’s very best makers, designers, recyclers, art, textiles & handmade brought to you by jelly arts.

Here's how Jelly describe this event....

On Thursday 27th November, jelly brings a Christmas fair with a difference to Reading Town Centre, with tips on how to make your Christmas the most special. Join in the many creative workshops on offer, from advent inspired to Christmas wreaths, to making the most of your vintage style for the seasonal parties ahead, as well as gift inspiration in the gallery pop-up shop with an array of gorgeous handmade gifts on offer.

This year, jelly is delighted to be working with Berzerk Productions who will be creating a magical and creative Santa experience that will leave your children smiling, full of festive cheer.

The event is designed to bring local artists & makers together to create something magical for the festive season and with plenty going on for all ages, there is something for everyone to enjoy. If you loved our Aunt Elsie events, then you will enjoy this, we will be creating a gallery style shop fitted out Aunt Elsie style.
There will be a range of workshops running and you can see more details and book here. We're very excited that we've booked places on the MAKE a rag rug brooch workshop - can't wait!!
You can also keep up to date on what's happening via social media (Facebook / Twitter) using #makeRDG

So if you're local to Reading (or even if you're not and just fancy a trip!!), why not check out all the fab activities going on as part of Make Reading. We'd love to hear from you if you do!
